At Datong Elementary, the first graders are starting school.  

大同小學一年級學生即將開學。

Their parents bring them to sign in on their first day of school. 

開學第一天，他們的父母帶他們去簽到。

As they start their learning journeys, they pass through three gates: the gate of politeness, the gate of intelligence, and the gate of diligent study. 

當他們開始學習之旅時，他們會經過三門：禮門、智門、精進門。

After they sign in, many students take pictures with their family outside the school to mark the occasion.  

簽到後，許多學生在校外與家人合照。
